Can a foreign investor own the company fully?
Yes, in most service, trading and industrial activities, provided the Ministry of Investment licence is obtained. Some activities have special conditions or ownership ratios, which we clarify before starting.
How long does incorporation take?
For a Saudi or GCC national, usually a few days. For a foreign investor, two to four weeks after the attested documents are complete. The duration depends on the activity and the authorities' remarks.
Do I need to be present in the Kingdom?
Most procedures are done electronically by authorisation. Some steps, such as opening the bank account or issuing residency, may require the manager's presence depending on the bank and authority.
What is the difference between an LLC and a foreign branch?
An LLC is an independent entity with its own liability. A branch is an extension of the parent that carries its name and the parent remains liable. The choice depends on the expected contracts and the parent company's situation.
Have a question about setting up your company?
Send us your activity and the partners' nationalities, and we will reply with the suitable entity, requirements and an initial quote.
